A CBOB Fall Concert

Community Band of Brevard presents…

Florida’s seasonal changes are subtle, but autumn is most definitely approaching for Conductor Robin Kessler and his award-winning Community Band of Brevard.  The group will welcome fall with a season-opening performance on Sunday, September 10 at Merritt Island High School Auditorium, 100 Mustang Way (off North Courtenay Parkway, 32953). The 3:00 PM CBOB Fall Concert will feature a variety of musical selections, including two works by The March King, John Philip Sousa. The audience will also hear “Yankee Doodle,” “Symphonic Dance No.3,” A Tribute to Stephen Foster, the popular “Russian Sailor’s Dance” and the Second Suite for Band by Gustav Holst. During the “Armed Forces Salute,” veterans of the U.S. military will be asked to stand when their service song is played. A CBOB Fall Concert is free with no ticket required and no reserve seating. A past winner of the John Philip Sousa Foundation Sudler Silver Scroll Award for musical excellence, the Community Band of Brevard is directed by former military bandleader, Robin Kessler.
