MASTER SERIES: Your Rendition of “LaGrandeJatte” butterfly painting class

The Studios of Cocoa Beach, 165 Minutemen Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach is offering a series of painting classes taught by Jan Bryant. Your Rendition of: The Butterfly at “La Grande Jatte” in acrylic, 1884, George Seurat will be offered on Tuesday, March 5th from 2 to 5:00 pm.
The Masters Series allows Jan to lead you through a work of art by a Master painter to develop this specific painting with the Master in mind, but using your particular colors and materials. A series of 7 classes throughout March will feature a different artist painting with each class.
Although Jan is not an Art Historian, she has studied extensively in the arts and various techniques of the Masters. Have fun creating your own butterfly inspired by Seurat’s “La Grand Jatte” in pointillism with some of Seurat’s techniques leg by Jan.
No supplies are included. Participants should use canvas no larger than 9” x 12”. If participants would like supplies for this painting, fee is $45 payable to the instructor and prior arrangements with Jan, phone is 321-426-6485.
Fee for the class is $85.
