MCO Presents: Heroes vs. Villains
Heroes vs. Villains: A Symphonic Battle of Good & Evil will take the audience on an exhilarating ride through the epic battles and moral struggles that define storytelling. From classical myths to modern sagas, this concert will highlight the eternal conflict between good and evil, as expressed through powerful, evocative music. The orchestra will be dressed as their favorite heroes and villains, and audiences are encouraged to do the same!
In a thrilling twist, we’ll be pitting the iconic themes of your favorite heroes against their villainous counterparts in a head-to-head, boxing-style battle. And the best part? You get to decide who wins each round by casting your vote live!
We’re also excited to showcase our extraordinary pianist, Paul Wubbena, as he takes on the towering challenge of Franz Liszt’s masterwork, Totentanz. This is one concert series you won’t want to miss, so mark your calendars now!
As always, our concerts are family friendly and FREE to all, and require no tickets. Doors open at 6 p.m. with a pre-show featuring MCO’s Woodwind Quintet, with the show starting at 7 p.m. Seating is first come, first served. Don’t forget to bring some spending money so you can participate in our raffles, 50/50, and grab a bite to eat at the City Bistro, which serves hot food and a full bar of cold drinks! We will also have MCO t-shirts available for a $25 donation!
So dress in your superhero or villain best, and join us for an epic symphonic battle! Best dressed may even win a prize! Follow us to learn more!
