Oil Paintings by Elena Tchistiakova: April Exhibit at Studios of Cocoa Beach

Studios of Cocoa Beach’s April exhibit features Oil Paintings by Elena Tchistiakova. Elena will display many of her nature paintings. She uses oil paints to create soft, tropical colors creating warm, inviting images of the Florida landscape. “I paint to explore my passion for our beautiful nature. For example, walking on the beach gazing out on the ocean I see so many colors. I put them on canvas in hopes that the viewer may enjoy them too,” said Tchistiakova.

Originally from Russia,  Elena earned an art degree in Moscow. She then moved to New York and studied CAD drafting classes at Cooper Engineering School. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years.

The Studios of Cocoa Beach, a non-profit gallery staffed by artists, is located at 165 Minutemen Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach. You can view Elena’s work throughout the month of April.
