Biography
“I grew up along the water's edge in Eau Gallie, exposed to an environment that included expansive vistas of water, tropical sunrises, sunsets, and foliage. After high school I attended Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, the Elliot McMurrough School of Art in Indialantic, the Cape School of Art in Province Town, MA, and the Johnson Atelier Technical Institute of Sculpture in Princeton, NJ. In my earlier days I was drawn to water and spent several summers canoeing the Indian River painting landscapes. In two-dimensional art I’ve primarily worked in oils on canvas - in sculpture I’ve worked on wax originals.
When the personal computer age began I started working on-screen, combining my skills in art with my skills as a programmer. Then my work evolved from the fine arts to also encompass the code world and all the varieties of multimedia production tools available as the computer and internet systems expanded.
Currently I paint oils on canvas. I write support code for iPhone and iPad applications. And I create production illustrations, using 3D software, for an online graphic novel.”
