Description
Brevard Ballet Youth Company is a community-funded non-profit 501(c)3 organization and the associate production company of Brevard Ballet Academy.
In 2015, Elena Shokhina, Founder and Artistic Director, was interviewed by Florida Today where she laid out her vision to grow her faculty, her facilities, and her student base in order to support a youth company. After growing her student enrollment to nearly 200 students, her faculty to nine professional teachers, and adding 3,000 square feet to her facility, her hard work paid off when she founded the Brevard Ballet Youth Company in 2018. Elena had the vision and experience to produce several magnificent full-length ballet productions, which include My Christmas Dream, Cinderella, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker Ballet.
Your support is sincerely appreciated and treasured as we work diligently to stretch sponsorship dollars. Your patronage defrays scholarships for young dancers, the staging and presentation of performances, artistic direction and countless other costs associated with our productions. By contributing to Brevard Ballet Youth Company, you will be center stage at every performance and in the heart of every dancer. Your generosity also benefits local nonprofit organizations, particularly those invested in helping children and/or handicapped individuals, as well as groups affiliated with cultural arts, long-term care facilities and group homes. We currently have community partnerships with Candlelighters of Brevard, Promise in Brevard, and Nana’s House.
